Wow, the power of feedback!

This is crunch time when you think you have created something that may be a goer. Next step is to talk to people, yep and you’ll generally get two responses. It’s Great or crap.

So, can you put the ego aside and listen, really listen! The fact someone is taking the time to tell you this is valuable They could be doing anything and they’re choosing to give you raw, authentic feedback.  Thanks Sam, Andrew and Keith,  really valuable insights. 

Design

Does it work? 

What’s the value? Is it cool, a fad, green?

Is there a match between all those attributes that make an iphone desirable and an iTubecover? Things like- simplicity, great design and beauty. 

Is  the contrast between high tech and low tech relevant- is that funky, cool , valuable in some way?

As Sam said, go and have a conversation with iphone users in social places. Make it short and get video of them talking about it.

Dani said observe and ask a few questions about how people are currently using their iPhone to get some insights.

The contrast is stark.  I’ve heard,  I wouldn’t use it if you paid and wow I love it, where do I get one?

IPhone users

There is huge diversity in the IPhone community, apple has built a brand over 20 years that is now culminating in massive success, largely made up of tech solutions, great design, beauty, and function. This is no over night success!  The interesting thing will be  if there is a sustainaed long term increase in the  the apple community numbers with the ‘mainstreaming’ of apple products.

You no longer need to be a ‘creative’ person to own an apple product. 

Why cover it up?

Yeah, there really is status tied up in the latest must have device that demonstrates your style, taste, love of convergent technology, hipness, and non and on the list goes…

There are also those who want to cover it up, maybe that is about protection, subtlty,
